EquestrianHorses have been a big part of my life growing up. I started riding when I was 12 years old and started showing the next year. When I was applying to colleges during high school, it was important to me to find a school that had an equestrian team so I could continue riding and competing in college. I've been on a college equestrian team competing in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association since my freshman year. It's definitely a sport that's taught me a lot through the years. I plan to continue showing and riding even after college because this is a hobby I can never give up.

MusicI've been playing music since I was 8 years old. My dad was my number one inspiration when it came to learning music. He taught me how to sing, got me into taking piano lessons and influenced me to play clarinet for a few years. I started playing guitar in high school and stuck with it ever since. Once I started going to college, I got the courage to perform for open mic nights and eventually been asked to play in talent shows and concerts hosted by clubs on campus. Music keeps me energized and has helped me become more confident in myself.

Beatbox SocietyOne of my closest college friends founded the club "Beatbox Society" at SRU during my junior year. He asked me to be the club's PR Executive to help start things up for the group. My position as the PR Executive dealt with posting content on the club's social media accounts and promoting the club all over campus by talking to students and performing with club members in talent shows and open mic nights. Being in this club has introduced me to a variety of different people on campus as well as taught me how to do something unique which is beatboxing. It's also given me more opportunities to get myself out there and show others some of my talent.
