My first week at USL was spent filming the interviews and opening B-roll for this project. I remember talking to the members of the Officials Development Program about what their vision for this video was and telling them I can imagine exactly what they were looking for. They told the Video Manager who I was working for to give me the project because I was so confident on creating something they wanted. This was my absolute favorite video I edited while working at USL because it made not only the officials from the Officials Development Program happy but officials in the sport everywhere enjoyed the outcome.
This project was involved around sharing the story of the creation of the 9/11 memorial that is on the property of USL Headquarters. I edited this video and filmed majority of the b-roll shots. We also used a drone to get a lot of the aerial shots in this video.
One of the most fun projects I worked on was this video for Redefining Practice. The main purpose of this project was to capture a live demonstration on what can make lacrosse practice more fun and enjoyable for young athletes. I wanted to make this video upbeat with the use of energetic music, great sound bites and lots of smiles.
One of my first projects that I both helped film and edit was the highlights of the Grand Opening at USL. This was the first and major event that took place at the USL headquarters in September. It was crucial to highlight everything that happened that entire weekend which made editing this video a challenge. Being able to edit this was a huge learning experience when it comes to covering big events.

Not only was I assigned to edit the highlights of this event but I got to take the reins on filming this game at the USL headquarters. This event was more than just two good lacrosse teams playing a game. It was a dedication to coach Bill Tierney, a big name in the lacrosse community. This was also my first game highlights project when working for USL.
I was assigned the project of editing all the Hall of Fame Inductee videos for all the incredible athletes who were inducted into the Lacrosse Hall of Fame. Each and every video in this project series touches on the emotional and personal side to being a lacrosse athlete.
Team USA played Notre Dame in Bradenton, Florida and I was very fortunate to be sent there to help film and cover the games and clinics. This was another game highlights video I was assigned to edit for the YouTube channel.
Team USA also announced their World Cup roster after their two games in Florida. I was asked to make a roster release video to go with an article that was written about who made the cut.
My very first assignment was to edit a video of footage that was taken during the tryouts for Team USA. This video's original purpose was to be housed in the headquarter's Lacrosse Hall of Fame on the touchscreen video monitors. However, we were asked if it could be used for a promo video for the Fall Classic, another major event hosted at USL headquarters. This was one of my favorite projects I worked on because I went in completely unaware of what footage I was going to work with, didn't have much direction other than what it's purpose was for, so I took my own direction with it and was given great feedback about how it turned out.
